During this weekend (from Friday 26th to Monday 29th) The Chill Concept is at the Iberoamerican Art Fair in Caracas exhibiting the work of its artists and presentings its concept of pop-up museum.

Located in Wynwood (Miami), The Chill Concept is an initiative of Andreina Fuentes, Venezuelan entrepreneur, longtime art dealer and visual artist who after years promoting the work of contemporary artists-during 10 years was head of the Hardcore Art Contemporary in Miami -decided to create this innovative concept of a museum that integrates wellness, innovation and contemporary practices.

During our participation at booth #14 of the FIA Caracas, the Chill Concept is promoting the work of Venezuelan artists Adriana Barrios, Nina Dotti, Carlos Zerpa, Muu Blanco and Isabella Muci and as international guests: Raul Marroquin and collective Blue & Joy, all linked to the artists’ residence program at The Chill Concept.

“I wanted to participate with The Chill Concept at the FIA Caracas because all the projects I have undertaken have begun in Venezuela, it is my place of origin and I want to show my idea of a new kind of museum and especially promote talent of Venezuelan artists” explains Andreina Fuentes who is exhibiting installations, video art, drawing, photography and sculpture.

Artistic projects related to topics as diverse as the lust for power, sex-related prejudices, war, urban and violence representations will be presented for The Chill Concept -on this occasion acting as a gallery stand.

Far from being a museum with a collection of objects, The Chill Concept presents a variety of programs, exhibitions, screenings, lectures, yoga, food, wellness and creative spaces for contemporary practices
