Singing Bowls are also used to help clear tension from our energy fields and balance the chakras – the subtle energy centers that distribute our life force. In modern times the benefits of sound therapies have been identified for people with a variety of mental health difficulties as well as for people experiencing pain and serious illnesses. Scientists have even discovered that our DNA and the cells in our body use both sound and light to communicate and transfer information. Tibetan/Himalayan bowls are made from several metals and have been used for many centuries by monks to foster meditation and to aid in healing. The bowls can be rung like a bell or gong or played along the rim to create a “singing” sound. Crystal bowls can also be rung or made to “sing” by playing their rim – they are made from pure quartz crystal and come in a variety of sizes, from 5 or 6 inches in diameter to 24 or more inches in diameter – an entire room can vibrate with the sound of one of these bowls! Each bowl has a primary musical tone along with many additional overtones that wash through you like cleansing waves. Reiki Certification – Reiki is the Japanese word for divine/universal life force energy. This concept of universal life force is similar or congruent to a variety of other concepts and terms such as “chi,” “prana,” “aether,” “kundalini,” “spirit,” and “orgone.” Reiki healing is a system initiated by a Japanese man named Mikao Usui in the early 20th Century. It focuses on opening one-self to the flow of energy, while using one’s awareness/intention and one’s hands to focus the flow of energy for healing purposes. This is similar to the system of therapeutic touch developed by nursing professionals, as well as traditional laying on of hands spiritual healing and various metaphysical healing and shamanic healing practices. Reiki training includes a process called attunement, in which a master performs an initiation procedure to open up the student’s energy system to increased energy flow and power. Reiki is typically very relaxing and associated with brainwave patterns present during periods of meditation. Reiki is compatible with oriental healing concepts and techniques, such as the chakra and meridian systems of yoga and acupuncture/acupressure. Reiki is a therapy that is used to balance chakra energy flow (chakra balancing) and help cleanse, strengthen, and balance the aura/biofield (aura clearing/aura cleansing). It can be used to accelerate healing of injuries and recovery from illness, and can be used to accompany any other health care treatments or spiritual interventions.

Jed has been practicing Reiki in Miami since 1999 and teaching/attuning hundreds of students since 2003. He has been recognized by some of Miami and South Florida’s best intuitives for his innate healing hands talents. Jed’s healing sessions may include elements of other energetic healing techniques and are intuitive, as Jed’s allows the energy and higher awareness to guide the sessions. Jed uses Theta Healing, Vibrational Sound Healing, and Emotional Release Bodywork as well as other spiritual and shamanic healing methods when asked or guided to. Jed offers Reiki healing circles, individual healing appointments, and instructional courses in Reiki healing. Classes and treatments are highly affordable, and focus on empowerment and de-mystifying Reiki, so that Reiki can be used to create powerful positive transformation and be administered in practical ways. Reiki healing sessions are provided on site (e.g., in your home) and at both a home office location in Miami/Kendall and other locations on specific days. Jed’s quiet home “office” location in South Kendall is at 12965 SW 112th Ave. Jed serves the South Florida area, having worked with clients and students from areas that include Homestead, Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay, West Kendall, Pinecrest, Coral Gables, South Miami, Coconut Grove, Doral, Hialeah, Key Biscayne, Miami Beach, Aventura, Miramar, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Key Largo, Davie, Ft.
