On September 13th “The Chill Concept” celebrated its launch party with an extensive calendar of workshops and activities.
Miami, FL. Despite the rain, people celebrated the opening of The Chill Concept with videos, an exhibition and salsa music. The new space which opened in Wynwood this Saturday, is far from being a museum with just a collection of objects. The Chill Concept is a space for the integration of art, innovation and wellness.
It is a pop-up museum conceived to present temporal, flexible and communitarian proposals. A place to catalyze ideas about diversity, genre and promoterelationship with the community. “Here you have a space to take risks, to search new roads. Make this your home. Help us innovate“, said Andreína Fuentes, artist (AKA Nina Dotti) and creator of this museum.
During the launch party, attendees enjoyed performances by Diana Castilla Orchestra, Dj Muu, Amereida World Music. They also walked through the exhibit room, the art documentation center, the shop, the bar and the open-air garden.
The agenda for the fourth quarter of the year includes exhibits; a New Media Festival, lectures, yoga, boot camps and wellness workshops. This year, The Chill Concept will also participate in the International Art Fair of Caracas (FIA) and in the Art Basel Miami 2014.
